Overview

Anam is an Associate with experience in corporate, commercial and conveyancing matters. Thoughtful, committed and keen to keep learning, she approaches her work with an interest in understanding both the legal requirements of a matter and the practical objectives of the
client.

Her experience includes commercial and transactional work, conveyancing and real estate, company secretarial practice, corporate due diligence and legal drafting. She has also gained exposure to labour and employment advisory work and matters involving foreign investment.

Anam has a particular interest in commercial and property law. She hopes to establish herself in these areas while continuing to expand her expertise in complex corporate transactions.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, with Second Class Upper Division honours, from The Open University of Sri Lanka. She has also completed diplomas in International Relations and Public Speaking and holds certifications in conveyancing and company secretarial practice from the Bar Association of Sri Lanka.

Outside of work, Anam enjoys reading, watching movies and baking. She also likes travelling, discovering new cafés and spending time with the people closest to her. She is less enthusiastic about warm weather, horror movies and hikes.
